Feel Unique Box Febuary

This is the second feel unique beauty box i've received, and have to say I'm a lot happier with this one then i was the first! It includes a good variety of products for every part of the body and has a mix of brands i've heard of and ones that i haven't.

I've really been enjoying using oil on my hair recently and had heard a lot of good things about using it on your skin, nails ect so was super excited to get the nuxe dry oil which can be used on all of the above, seen as i have really dry skin especially in the summer it will definitely come in useful!
The Elemis product is a very generous 'sample' size, it's used for a hand and body wash - I used this on my hands earlier & literally hated it straight away. It felt like i'd applied glue to my hands (like you used to when you were a kid to peel it off) and was so sticky it was unreal! however once it had soaked in for about five minutes, it has made my skin alot softer, but i'll stick be sticking to my hand food by soap & glory.

The phytopeel by Decleor is another thing i think will be good for my skin at the moment seen as its an exfoliating cleanser, however - the word 'peel' always puts my off things as i think its going to be super harsh on my skin - anyone else or just me being a weirdo?

The philip kingsly elacticizer is something i've never even heard of before and something i find a little strange, its a pre shampoo treatment that claims to make your hair alot more bouncy and full of volume, as thats how i love my hair being I'm excited to try it but i do think its a bit of a weird creation!

And lastly the leighton denny nail polish, i've seen this in a lot of beauty boxes as a brand so wasn't very surprised, but i do red nails quite alot on nights out so will save me repurchasing barry m's red for a while longer! Also, as i received my box this morning i also received an email from feel unique saying they would no longer be doing there beauty boxes anymore, which i'm actually quite sad about as it took me ages to choose this one to subscribe too! but i guess when one door closes, another opens..

January Favourites

Picture number two makes me sad as when products don't look nice and squeaky clean in pictures it makes me cringe a little, but hey ho - this is what happens when a product is clearly loved.
Been using a few different bits and bobs since the new year and some of my old time favourites still in here aswell, theres some things ill always go back to.

Sephora Blush & Jemma Kidd All Over Radiance - I've had this blush since January 2011 after visiting New york. At that time i loved makeup but wasn't really 'into it' like i am now, so picked this up on a wim as it was pretty cheap and a nice colour. However, it has managed to be the blush i always go back to, pigmented enough to leave a colour but sheer enough not to be to overdone its perfect for my pale complexion. The radiance creme from jemma kidd was an after christmas purchase. After seeing Vivianna post about wearing it, i ummed & ahhed over it for a few days then eventually just purchased, I'm so glad i did though as this has become a staple in my everyday makeup, i just brush a little over my cheekbones and brow bone for a subtle glow.

Herbal Essences Hello Hydration conditioner - Again i saw Gemsmaquillage post about this on her blog and happened to have run out of my usual conditioner at the time. I then saw this in tesco on offer and decided to give it a try. It leaves a nice shine on my hair and leaves it very soft and smooth, basically doing the same (if not better) job as my other conditioner which cost twice as much as what this did.

L'oral Super Skinny Liner - Picked this up in boots when it was on a 2 for £11 offer (best friend brought the other one so ended up as 5.50 each instead of like £7) we both needed new liquid eyeliners and this seemed the best of what was on offer. I've used it a lot since i brought it, but definitely not the best one i've ever used, just the only one i have.

Urban Decay Naked Palette 2 Brush - Just a good fluffy brush for applying all eyeshadows on the go!

Mac Lipstick in "Hue" - This is properly my all time favourite Mac lipstick, i always end up losing it by taking it on nights out ect, so don't get to use it for ages then repurchase and fall in love all over again, its my perfect nude lip colour with just abit of something else.

hair de hair

basically a quick post because i did something new with my hair.
I loved it in real life, not so keen on it in photos! i've always envied over my best friends hair, its typical 'caggie dunlop' (made in chelsea, google her!) hair, beautifully wavy/curly with so much volume and i just love it and always have! my hair however has always been a complete poof ball of curlyness or poker straight from me getting the straightners on it! well no more, (atleast for a day)

awkward smile and serious face in shot, hers the final result! hope you all like, plus lets be honest i dont show my face enough around here! even though curly and this have make me look like a porky piggie!
